Jeremy Jones drops off Rainbow Peak. With a goal of shooting the opening sequence for Higher, their sea-to-spines journey ended with food rationing to ride lines for personal enjoyment. Ryland Bell and Jeremy took a boat from Haines, AK, and then bushwhacked to the alpine and rode mountains that Jeremy had last visited in a helicopter, which are now off limits to motorized access. “There’s no way we could have pulled this off at the start of the Trilogy,” Jeremy says. “First we took the heli out of the equation, then we took the planes out of the equation and finished with a truly self-supported trip.”

about the artist

Jeff Curley

Truckee, CA

If I had to sum it up, I'd say that photography opened the door to a life I had really never intended on living. Looking at my love of capturing life’s passing moments, I am incredibly thankful for the celluloid and digital opportunities of our age. It has made living this dream a possibility.
