The Mt. Baker Legendary Banked Slalom is in a category all its own. Beyond racing for the coveted golden duct tape trophy, the LBS has been the ultimate gathering of the snowboarding tribe since day one. Things have come a long way since Tom Sims won the first banked slalom in 1985, but the spirit of snowboarding remains steadfast in the racers, organizers and fans who make the pilgrimage to Mt. Baker each year.
To commemorate the historic 30th running of the Legendary Banked Slalom, the crew at Mt. Baker asked the equally legendary Jamie Lynn to create an original work of art. With his instantly recognizable style on and off the hill, there was no better choice to represent the elements that define this Pacific Northwest institution.
It is with great respect that we offer this commemorative edition 30th Annual Mt. Baker Legendary Banked Slalom poster featuring original artwork by Jamie Lynn.
